This issue is dedicated to current research in the field of synthesis, modification, and application of new functional materials, development of modern methods of chemical analysis, and creation of biologically active substances. The papers discuss the synthesis and heterovalent substitution regularities in high-temperature superconducting cuprate systems and lanthanum nickelates, alongside the kinetics of gas-phase bromination of activated carbon and catalytic CO oxidation over carbon nanotubes. New approaches in the synthesis of potential pyrimidine-based antifolates, sulfamoyl derivatives of isocoumarins, isoindoles, and modified coumarins are highlighted. Special attention is paid to lanthanide coordination compounds with phosphorylated ligands, binuclear copper, uranyl, and palladium complexes based on substituted triazoles, the electronic structure of cyanine dyes, as well as novel sorption, capillary, and visual test systems for the determination of mercury, iodine, thiocyanates, EDTA, and menthol in pharmaceuticals and plant materials.
For university lecturers, researchers, postgraduate students, and higher education applicants.
