Проведено аналіз даних літератури щодо сучасних методів визначення і виявлення діуретиків у фармацевтичних препаратах та біологічних рідинах. Показано, що до найбільш розповсюджених відносяться хроматографічні та спектроскопічні, зокрема люмінесцентні, методи. Складність біологічних матриць та низький вміст діуретиків передбачає проведення стадії попереднього концентрування аналітів та їх відокремлення від компонентів матриці.
