This issue is dedicated to current research in the field of synthesis, modification, and application of new functional materials, development of modern methods of chemical analysis, and creation of biologically active substances. The papers discuss the synthesis of novel pyranochromenediones, Michael and Michael-Diels-Alder adducts based on aminoisoindole, and the thermochemistry of iron-antimony alloy formation. The regularities of gas-phase modification of activated carbon and the catalytic activity of supported systems in $CO_2$ hydrogenation and alcohol dehydration reactions are highlighted. Special attention is paid to the photovoltaic and optical properties of film composites, coordination compounds of palladium, copper, and uranyl with nitrogen-containing heterocycles, quantum-chemical modeling of substituted styrenes, as well as new sorption, spectrophotometric, and luminescent indicator systems for the determination of iodine, fluoride, thiocyanates, and trace heavy metals in environmental and biological objects.
For university lecturers, researchers, postgraduate students, and higher education applicants.
